These terms cover thefeeling.space and the guides it makes. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it.

What The Feeling is

The Feeling is a travel curator. You show it your taste — saved images, words, a few places you love — and it writes you a city guide from a catalogue of places we have checked ourselves. It is a recommendation, written by software from human-edited material, not a booking service and not a substitute for checking a place before you go.

Your first city is free

Anyone may generate one guide without paying. We count that by email address. After that, guides require a membership.

Membership

Membership is €17 a month or €149 a year, billed by Stripe to the card you give them. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep every guide you have made.

The service starts as soon as you pay. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment and have generated fewer than two guides as a member, write to hello@thefeeling.space and we refund the payment in full. Once you have used the membership beyond that, the right to withdraw no longer applies and payments for periods already started are not refunded — you can still cancel at any time so nothing further is charged.

Membership is personal. It is tied to the email you paid with; please don't share it.

Accuracy

We check every place in the catalogue against public sources and recent reports, and we say when a place has drifted, moved or closed. Places still change without telling us: hours, prices, closures, ownership. A guide is our best knowledge on the day it is written. Confirm anything that matters — a booking, a closing day, a price — before you rely on it. We are not responsible for a wasted trip, a closed door or a bill that was higher than we said, and our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem.

Your content

The images and words you give us stay yours. You give us permission to use them to write your guide and to improve how the service reads taste. Only upload images you have the right to use. We don't publish your images or your guides; a guide is yours to keep, print and share as you like, and you may not resell guides or the catalogue behind them.

Our content

The catalogue, the writing, the site and the name The Feeling are ours. Nobody pays to be listed. A guide is licensed to you for personal use.

Fair use

Don't try to generate guides at a volume no traveller would, scrape the catalogue, or get around the free-guide count. We may close accounts that do.

Changes and law

We may change these terms; when it matters we'll say so on the site. These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the courts of Madrid. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing here removes rights you have under your own country's law.
